Happy Anniversary to Us.

We've been married for 3 years.
Sadly I can't find any recent pictures of the two of us together, but holy shit I found these pictures as I was searching.

Let this be a lesson to all of you. NEVER LEND YOUR CAMERA TO STEVEN.

The Straight & Narrow

"hey, whatcha doing?"
"come 'er and look what I've been doing"
"my cars are all parked"
"all in a row"

We've noticed that this is something he does. With everything. Everything has its place or has to be "just so". I call it baby OCD. Steven thought I was saying OCC (as in Orange County Choppers, and couldn't figure out the connection)

Hair Today, Gone Tomorrow

I know, I know, not the most flattering pictures in the world but I couldn't really find good ones of his hair. Personally I love his hair a bit longer. It's charming and adorable and baby-ish. Steven, well, not so much. He's been pushing for a buzz cut ever since I tried to cut his hair myself. (and THAT was a gong show) I finally gave my okay, and initially they tried to use the razor at home but John was having NONE of that. So they went to Beaner's.

And got a very, very short haircut. Steven wanted to go shorter but apparently he had to hold John down to even get this cut.
He looks too much like a little boy. He doesn't look like a baby anymore:(

And now that it's been a couple weeks, man oh man, he's got cowlicks.

Here's a nice side view of the shortness.

And a close up. What with the flash glaring off his scalp, this pic makes you fully appreciate just how short his hair is.

And he's still too short for this trike. His feet still don't reach the pedals.

It's in the Blood, Man

Of course I know how to use them. My mommy bought me my very own set.

Check it out. He's holding them better than most people that I know! Hahahaha.

The Nose Knows

There's not really much I can add to this post. Fairly straight-forward.

Yup.

Meet The Family

Isn't my family adorable?

My Boys.

Finally! They're both (sort of) looking at the camera.

Hey There Stranger...

Don't I know you from somewhere?
Did we work together?
Go to school together?
Do we ride the elevator in the same building?

Oh wait, I know...from the blog. Yeah, the blog. It's been awhile, hasn't it? I know I haven't been in touch. I've been busy, you know, family, summer-time...stuff like that. Yes, we should get together sometime.

Call me.

I know, sorry. I'm a lousy blogger. What with one thing or another I just either haven't had time to blog or haven't been in the right frame of mind to blog. Plus what free time I have had I've tried to spend with Steven, John and Riley. You know, MY FAMILY. heh.

I'll try and do a quick re-cap via pictures.

Back at the end of July I had a week off. We went down to take dad to lunch one day.

Here's John on the way home. Not a happy camper.

One minute later.

And one minute after that.

After countless years of talking about it, we finally visited the Dog Training Facility.

Steven's secret dream is to wear the suit and experience a "take-down" by the dog.
No such luck.

And we saw the puppies!

The dog that the Queen gave to Canada.
Apparently she has dogs other than Corgis.

To Serve and Protect.

Dandelions, who doesn't love them?
Besides me, I mean who DOESN'T love them?

But how can you say no to this face?
Of course you can pick the dandelions and blow on them in the back of the car.
Of course, sweetie.

And John helped me pick weeds. Such a helper.

Probably not the smartest idea to let him wear a white shirt.
