Christmas Eve

He is the best dressed toddler.  Actually truth be told, he's the best dressed person in the household.

Really, who doesn't want to wear a dress hat and tie with Jammies to make breakfast?

See what I mean?
He's totally the best dressed.
This is me not showered and wearing most likely the same clothes from the day before.

We wrapped Riley's present.
John wrote the tag himself. How adorable is this?

It is absolutely amazing how fast John picked up on how to use the iPad.

Christmas at the Mothership.  Do you know why?  Because we have John.  It's very important to me that John wakes up in his own bed on Christmas morning.  I might rethink this position when he gets older and my bones get older and start craving warmer weather instead...but for now it's all about John.

Cindy came up on Christmas Eve.  What a great auntie.  John made her sit in the "boat".  And then he loaded all the animals onto the boat.  Hey, it's the ark.  I never made the connection before!

The he abandoned her in the middle of the "water".
But at least he left an oar for her to paddle out.

Fast forward....Christmas Eve night.

We were tracking both Santa and Auntie Two & Whitey.

Just as we were getting John ready for bed we heard them at the front door.

Then we wrapped Christmas presents and placed them under the tree.  Man, he's so spoiled.  Steven & I don't exchange gifts so 99% of these are for John.

My boys.
