Hoppy Easter

I hope everyone had a wonderful Good Friday.

We had an excellent day. We went to the Zoo and apparently so did half the city. It took us nearly 30 minutes from the main road to the parking lot. Holy line-up. Man, we are crazy. And then because it was so crowded, after the first station, we gave up on the Easter scavenger hunt. Way too many people. So essentially we had lunch at the Zoo.

Then we went to the Bird Sanctuary.

Me: John, do you think Big Bird is here?

John: Buuurrrd...Buh-ig.

Me: Is Big Bird here?

John: NO. Buuh-rrrd.

I know, sparkling conversationalist we are. I simply love, love, LOVE how he says certain words.

Bird is Buh-rrd. Gween. Yeh-yow (yellow).

And he's talking so much now. I mean real words. You can actually understand, well maybe 75% of what he says. Okay, maybe you can't understand but we can.

John is so adorable it's heartbreaking. How is it possible to love someone this much?
