And for those of you non-parents out there, this is Franklin:

John & I spent the afternoon singing, dancing and clapping.

This is John, absolutely mesmerized.
And Crazy Eyes made an appearance as well.

You're welcome, Dawna. I love doing stuff with John. He's my best guy. But shhhh, don't tell Riley or Steven!

Hoppy Easter

I hope everyone had a wonderful Good Friday.

We had an excellent day. We went to the Zoo and apparently so did half the city. It took us nearly 30 minutes from the main road to the parking lot. Holy line-up. Man, we are crazy. And then because it was so crowded, after the first station, we gave up on the Easter scavenger hunt. Way too many people. So essentially we had lunch at the Zoo.

Then we went to the Bird Sanctuary.

Me: John, do you think Big Bird is here?

John: Buuurrrd...Buh-ig.

Me: Is Big Bird here?

John: NO. Buuh-rrrd.

I know, sparkling conversationalist we are. I simply love, love, LOVE how he says certain words.

Bird is Buh-rrd. Gween. Yeh-yow (yellow).

And he's talking so much now. I mean real words. You can actually understand, well maybe 75% of what he says. Okay, maybe you can't understand but we can.

John is so adorable it's heartbreaking. How is it possible to love someone this much?

Fat Bastard II

I drank an entire bottle of Fat Bastard, a charming white wine. Although, considering that I drank the entire bottle by myself (in one sitting) it probably isn't too important whether it is "charming" or not.

My snack of choice was Goldfish crackers. That's right, I was drunk and eating John's snacks.

What? He was in bed. And it was on the weekend.

Dawna sent John (& I'm assuming Steven) some cheater chopsticks (blue, green, red & yellow). That's a huge lobster on top of the gigantic plastic chopsticks.

Fat Bastard

Sometimes I hate Internet Explorer. I just typed a post and tried to cut and paste for formatting and it deleted everything. EVERYTHING.

I took a couple of days off from work. Beautiful. So relaxing and spending some quality time with John.

We took the train.

And then we went to the Science Centre.

And then we went to the Zoo.

It was probably one of the best days that I've had in a long time. A long, long time. Definitely was good for the soul.

Blind Side

We're watching this movie right now.

It's killing me. I think my heart is breaking.

Why?

Why do the crazy people like to sit beside me on the train?

Ghost Whisperer

I don't know why I keep watching this show. I cry every single time.

It's not even a particulary good show anymore.

Sometimes it feels good to cry.
